Who Am I?

On some other site, this is where you would see the picture of the guy leaning against his Porsche in front of his multi-million dollar mansion. Further down the page you might see him (or a buff, bronzed, underwear model standing in for him) playing with his supermodel "wife" in a Jacuzzi or a pool with the mandatory umbrella drinks and a butler not far away.

That's not me, and that's not this website. Truth is I did own a Porsche 993 just a short time ago, but I sold it because I'm too old and too fat to get in and out of it (that should be adequate to explain the absence of the second picture). My nice but not brand-new Ford F-150 Lariat truck suits me just fine. I've owned nice cars all my life, but that's not who I am. I've lived in nice places all my life, but that's not who I am either. No butler or supermodel either. I could probably afford a butler if I wanted, but who wants some old guy with a nice suit and a fake British accent always under foot? I'm either too old or too young to have a supermodel for a wife (think about that one for a minute, it will come to you).

So that begs the question, if I'm not the quintessential "guy who made it big overnight in online small business", then why am I coming to you now with claims of being successful and being the guy you should trust to take you down the road to home-based small business success?

Well, that brings us back full circle to the question that kicked off this page. Who am I? My name is Jeff Pritchard and I could variously be described as:

  • A nerd
  • A gentleman
  • A pretty decent nature photographer (www.JeffPritchard.com)
  • An electronics and software engineer
  • A helpful kind of a guy
  • A guy who finds the intricacies of online small business fascinating
  • A guy who has tried many ways to make money from home and failed
  • A guy who has failed at online business not once but twice
  • A guy who almost failed at online business for a third time
  • A guy who finally 'got it', and is now succeeding
  • A guy who wouldn't show off his Porsche even if he still had one
  • A guy who has no supermodels and little danger of ever "owning" one
  • A guy who is not too busy in the pool to help you with your business

So now that I'm out there in the open, who are you? Are you somebody who is more likely to be taken in by "the pool guy", or are you somebody who likes the idea of having your own Sherpa to guide you through the maze of online business success?

Maybe you are wondering "who is the lady with the cat at the top of every page?" Sorry, I don't know. That banner was put together for me by a friend from the active online forum of people doing exactly what you'll be doing if you decide to go this route. (Thanks Tatiana - her website ).

Are you about ready to get on with it then?
Yeah, me too; this sales stuff is not who I am either.
