Here is the basic premise for Door Number 1 as described on the last page:

• We all get paid directly by Google. You pay me NOTHING!

Many people (maybe you too) have been burned by one or more work from home opportunities, and that tends to make people a bit skeptical. For that reason, let's get my "cut" right out in the open here so you can stop guessing when the other shoe will drop. The truth is, there is no "other shoe". Just an honest and right out there in the open way for me to benefit from the same collaborative leverage that you will be using to bring in decent money from your "few dozen pages".

A typical "info" site has pages that consist of mostly text about the subject, and Google Ads that also relate to the subject. Google allows up to 3 "sets" of their Ads on any given page. Each set of ads has hidden in it a special number that Google keeps track of. That number tells Google who to pay when a reader clicks on one of their ads.

Since there can be up to 3 sets of ads, and each set has its own tracking number, it is very easy for you and I to share the income that your page makes. But hey, 3 is not an even number. When we divvy it up between the two of us, one of us is going to get the short end of the stick. This is where I take one for the team. I set it up such that two of the Ad sets have your Google tracking number, and only one has mine. Even better, research shows that the upper-left corner of the page is the best place for an Ad set; it brings in the most clicks and makes the most money. One of your two Ad sets will always get that place of honor.

So that's the long and the short of it. In exchange for organizing the whole thing, and providing you with the tools you need to very easily complete your few pages, and for hosting the whole thing on the Internet...I skim just 1/3rd of the total income (actually, more like 1/4th, since you get the good spot). What's more, you don't even have to trust me...Google takes care of all the money. After you build each page, you can go look at it on the Web and see for yourself that two of the Ad groups have your number in them, and one of them has mine. You will set up all of your payment stuff directly with Google, and I won't ever even see any of your money.

I'm just as greedy as the next guy. The difference is, I was smart enough to come up with a way to be greedy without taking your money! We both win, and I really like that.
